Choosing the right material in the design of products is decisive in terms of both aesthetics and functionality. The materials used by ACO stand out with their durability, resistance to time, harsh environmental conditions, icing, heat and sunlight. Polymer concrete, stainless steel, plastic and all cast materials are equally resistant to all environmental influences, durable and recyclable. The special composition of the material and the latest production technologies give ACO polymer concrete its superior properties: ACO polymer concrete products with the same density are lighter and much more durable than equivalent concrete products. ACO polymer concrete is waterproof, the water on it dries quickly and it is not possible to cause any damage due to icing. The cast iron types used in ACO plants have been adapted to even more stringent requirements as a result of intensive development processes and innovations. Both graphitic cast iron (Gray cast iron, GG) and ductile graphite cast iron (GGG) have proven themselves, for example, in the wastewater casting industry due to their high corrosion resistance. Parts made of plastic provide the highest design freedom in terms of form and function. We exploit this potential to avoid complex material combinations and joining processes and to develop an intelligent solution from a single mold. The plastic used by ACO is extremely resistant to cracking and has high resistance to environmental conditions. Custom drainage and design solutions can be created using stainless steel. The stainless nickel-chromium steel we use is extremely resistant to aggressive substances. It is easy to shape in creative solutions and has an unlimited lifetime.
