Product Range:

With the completion of our expansion investment in 2014, Kartonsan's annual production capacity reached 240,000 tons (BM1 and BM2). Our main products are made from coated cardboard manufactured from recycled paper and are commonly referred to in the industry as 'duplex (gd)' and 'triplex (gt)' coated cardboard. Kartonsan's products find applications in various sectors including food, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, advertising, and promotion.

Certifications:

Our products are certified by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food, and Livestock for suitability for food packaging. Additionally, we have received positive assessments from various international analytical laboratories, aligning with suggestions from the BfR (the German Federal Institute for Risk Assessment), especially regarding their use in packaging that comes in direct contact with dry food.

NORMPRINT:

Description: Normprint is a multi-coated cardboard with a blade top coat, offering brilliant printability with substantial ink economy and a high degree of varnish ability. It is suitable for a wide range of different packaging applications and features a grey back section.

EXPRINT:

Description: Exprint is a multi-coated cardboard with a blade top coat, providing excellent printability with substantial ink economy and high varnish ability. It is ideal for various packaging types and detailed graphic printing. The backside is grey.

LUXTRIPLEX:

Description: Luxtriplex is a multi-coated cardboard with a blade top coat, ensuring brilliant printability with substantial ink economy and high varnish ability. It also offers an excellent creasing surface due to its structure. The backside is white, making Luxtriplex ideal for all types of packaging, including greeting cards and materials requiring detailed printing.

Sustainability:

Kartonsan is committed to sustainability. When paper is recycled, it prevents the carbon stored in the paper product from returning to the atmosphere, thereby prolonging the sequestration of fibers from sustainable forestry in the value chain. Fibers can be recycled 6 to 8 times, demonstrating our dedication to environmental responsibility.
