About Us

MEDİTEKS, established in 1999, aims to increase customer satisfaction by embracing continuous improvement in medical product production in accordance with quality management systems. With the use of high-quality raw materials and modern machinery, every stage of the production process is controlled. The company was founded by Mr. Ekrem Başarır, the current chairman of the board, and began producing Cotton Bandages, Elastic Bandages, and Elastic Gauze Bandages in a small workshop with seven machines in 2001. They started producing Hot - Cold Therapy products in 2003 and began exporting their products in 2006. In 2007, the company switched to Gas Compress production and by the end of 2008, they had a facility with 44 machines exporting to 32 countries. In 2012, a Gas Bandage factory was established in Edirne and the narrow weaving line was increased to 74. In 2013, production of Plaster Bandages began, and they expanded their machine line with their own sterilization system. In 2014, MEDİTEKS became Turkey's largest capacity Gas Compress (Spanç) folding facility, reaching a daily production capacity of 18,000 Abdominal Compresses (Abdominal Pads).
