What We Do:
Alfa Laval is a world leader in three core technologies:
1. Heat Transfer: Our heat exchangers transfer heat from one fluid to another, recycling heat, optimizing energy consumption, reducing costs, and minimizing environmental impact.
2. Separation: Our separation technology efficiently separates liquids from liquids, particles from liquids, and liquids and solids from gases. Our product portfolio includes separators, centrifugal decanters, filters, strainers, and membranes.
3. Fluid Handling Equipment: Alfa Laval supplies pumps, valves, tank cleaning equipment, assembly materials for the food and pharmaceutical industries, and pump systems for the marine sector.
Who We Serve:
We assist in meeting heating, cooling, transportation, and separation needs in various industries, including food, energy, environment, engineering, pharmaceuticals, refineries, and petrochemicals. We operate within three primary sales divisions: Energy, Marine, Food, and Water.
How We Operate:
Our operations department is responsible for the Group's supply, production, distribution, and global logistics. In other words, we ensure that everything sold by the three divisions, from heat exchangers to separators, pumps, valves, and membranes, is produced and delivered in line with our commitments to customers.
Where We Are:
Our products, systems, and services are sold in over 100 countries. Approximately half of our sales are conducted directly by the three divisions, while the rest are carried out through channels such as system builders, external contractors, retailers, agents, and distributors. We have more than 100 service centers in over 160 countries, ensuring proximity to our customers and rapid assistance when needed.
