Founded in Istanbul in 1955 by Mr. Fethi ÇATALAY, the leading manufacturer Şafak Makina has turned into an important organization under the leadership of the second generation Dündar ÇATALAY, Serdar ÇATALAY and Erdal ÇATALAY. The company has a rich history that started with a single lathe in 1955 and has grown and expanded over the years.

Product portfolio

Pipe and Hose Assemblies

The company specializes in manufacturing pipe assemblies, hydraulic pipe fittings, hose nozzle assemblies and shaped pipe. Using 20 CNC pipe bending machines and 15 pipe end forming machines, Şafak Makina meets customer demands with precision. Welding operations are carried out by experienced and technically equipped personnel.

Dental Production

Using advanced technology and high-performance Dental MACHINES, including Dental Cad-Cam machines, Şafak Makina effectively meets the needs of the dental industry. The machine accommodates a wide variety of materials including Zirconium Oxide, Chrome Cobalt, Titanium, PMMA, Wax, Composite, Soft Metal, Lithium Disilicate and Glass Ceramic.

Machining

It serves the chip manufacturing sector with 33 CNC machining centers and 42 CNC lathes. It also has the ability to produce the necessary fittings for the assembly of hoses and pipes in various material types and features. Experienced and technically competent personnel ensure the production of both standard and non-standard components according to customer requirements.

CNC Machine Manufacturing

Şafak Makina produces machine parts that meet TS16949 system expectations with high precision on CNC machines. Equipped with CNC production centers and CNC-controlled lathes, the facility produces special molds, tools, automation solutions and special machinery in accordance with customer expectations using the latest CAM modules.

Hot Tattoo

The forging department has an annual capacity of 5,000 tons and produces steel parts in the range of 0.1-5 kg. Modern technology enables the production of cut parts that are heated in PLC-controlled induction furnaces before being sent to forging presses. After processes such as deburring, grinding and sandblasting, the parts are prepared for sawdust manufacturing.

Engine Parts

Specializing in the production of engine cylinder liners and engine piano groups, Şafak Makina uses precision CNC 5-axis machines. Components are tested with Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM), air gauges and special measuring tools. Controlled processes include implementing QR codes for traceability using ERP systems.

Vehicle Brake Groups

The company produces compressors with high-precision CNC machines and offers special manufacturing solutions to automotive companies according to their special requirements.

Corporate Overview

Şafak Makina, which has been operating in its 30,000 m² state-of-the-art facility in Düzce Organized Industrial Zone since 2018, moved to its 10,500 m² integrated facility in Istanbul Samandıra in 1998. Şafak Makina's growth trajectory is an indication of its commitment to delivery.
