Bias Binding Tape
Bias binding tape, also known as stretchable bias tape, is a strip of fabric cut on the slope of the fabric, an essential quality of the piping tape. Cross-cut fabric strips cover raw fabric edges or piping for pillows. Hence, stretchable bias tape is used for many other sewing projects. Bias binding tape is a strip of fabric that is cut on the bias, which means it is cut at a 45-degree angle to the grain of the fabric. This allows the tape to have a lot of stretch and flexibility, making it ideal for binding curved edges or finishing raw edges on garments and other fabric projects. Bias binding tape is often used to finish the edges of quilts, blankets, and other home decor items, as well as to create clean, finished edges on clothing and other sewn items. It can be made from a variety of fabrics, including cotton, silk, and polyester, and is typically used as a decorative element as well as a functional one. Piping made of double-layer bias tape or cross-cut polyester cotton fabric is a rigid, durable, pre-folded, ironing-free, machine-washable, and non-stretchable material. Also, our production team sew it by machine or manually. Tekiş Lastik produces satin, cotton, printed, and leather bias types in 20mm, 30mm, and 40 mm. Moreover, stretchable bias tape can be used for collars and sleeve parts of clothes and covering the sides of textiles, decorations, Do It Yourself (DIY) projects, seat upholstery, and pillow designs are usage areas.
